Kimberly Haines, CPM
Premier Birth Center in Winchester
Kimberly is a second generation midwife and mother of 5. She began attending births as a doula in 2006 and graduated in 2012 from The Florida School of Traditional Midwifery, a MEAC-accredited school of midwifery. Her program was intense, combining rigorous academic studies with several different apprenticeships, providing a depth and breadth of training rare among today’s Direct Entry Midwives.
Kimberly has been attending births as a Licensed Midwife in Virginia since 2014. She has a village-like approach to midwifery with a passion for continuity of care. She has long dreamed of bridging the out-of-hospital community with the in-hospital community and has been able to slowly watch that bridge build, brick-by-brick, with her dedicated team at Premier Birth Center.
